Dr. Annie Soler has dedicated her career to educational access and equity for marginalized communities. Her fundamental belief is that education is a human right. As the VP of Programs and Strategic Growth at Techbridge Girls, she is able to channel her passion into TBG’s work equipping educators and building their confidence to create safe and inclusive STEM learning environments for Black, Indigenous and Latina girls and gender expansive youth.
Annie is a seasoned professional with 17+ years of experience in K-12 education, spanning non-profits, educational institutions, and start-ups. Her strategic approach aligns team skills with organizational needs, while her visionary mindset ensures high-quality deliverables. Annie builds authentic relationships with stakeholders, enables real-time responses to evolving needs, and fosters impactful change.
Prior to joining TBG, Annie worked at her alma mater, an all-girls K-12 school, providing leadership development and social justice education to students and diversity, equity and inclusion training to teachers. Additionally, Annie worked at several college access programs for students between 5th-12th grade in the San Francisco Bay Area. While there she focused on youth development by creating and running programs to support first-generation college bound students achieve their dreams of a college education. As a member of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps at the beginning of her career, Annie worked at a school supporting families experiencing homelessness.
Annie earned her Doctorate in International and Multicultural Education with a Human Rights Emphasis from the University of San Francisco in 2013. She also holds an M.S. and B.S. in Experimental Psychology, concentration in Child Development, from Saint Joseph’s University.
Annie currently lives in Central Jersey, surrounded by farmland, with her husband and two children. She loves spending time with her extended family and dear friends, watching her children learn and grow and taking photos of these memories.
