Nicole Rembert

Director

Nicole Rembert is an accomplished transformational leader with extensive experience in information technology and cybersecurity. Over her career, Nicole has honed her exceptional business and technical acumen to drive significant improvements and strategic initiatives for organizations in the healthcare and financial sectors.

Currently, Nicole serves as the Global Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Data Privacy Director for UL Solutions. In this role, she leverages her expertise to strengthen the overall cybersecurity posture of the organization while ensuring compliance with global standards.

Prior to joining UL Solutions, Nicole served as the Director of Security Programs, Governance, and Compliance at Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan, where she spearheaded several large-scale cybersecurity initiatives. Her leadership in creating effective strategies, managing budgets, overseeing programs, and handling compliance and risk management is recognized as being instrumental in enhancing the organization’s security framework.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University, a Master of Science in Information Technology from Lawrence Technological University. She is also credentialed with three highly respected certifications: Project Manager Practitioner (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and HITRUST Certified CSF Practitioner (CCSFP) while currently pursuing a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification.

As an active member of the Information Technology Senior Management Forum (ITSMF) and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Nicole is deeply committed to professional development and community involvement. She is passionate about mentoring and investing in the next generation of cybersecurity leaders, having served as a mentor for various organizations dedicated to empowering young women.
