professional learning programs
Techbridge Girls equips educators, out-of-school-time leaders, volunteers, STEM professionals, and organizational leaders with the knowledge, tools, and strategies needed to create equitable, engaging STEM experiences for Black, Latina, and Indigenous girls and gender-expansive youth.
Our professional learning experiences help adults strengthen their understanding of STEM equity, belonging, mentorship, AI literacy, and culturally responsive engagement so they can better support young people as learners, creators, innovators, and leaders.
OUR PROGAMS
Techbridge Girls Professional Learning Programs combine live learning, on-demand training, reflection, and practical application to help adults create stronger STEM experiences for young people.
A one-day virtual professional learning institute that equips educators, youth-serving professionals, and community leaders with the knowledge, confidence, and practical strategies to navigate AI in their own lives and work.
Participants strengthen their own understanding of AI and explore practical AI tools before learning how to support young people as thoughtful, responsible, and confident users of AI.
Developed with support from the National Science Foundation, Role Models Matter™ prepares STEM professionals and volunteers to effectively engage girls from marginalized communities through authentic mentorship and equitable STEM engagement practices.
Participants learn how to build meaningful connections with youth, share their STEM journeys in relatable ways, challenge stereotypes, and foster confidence and belonging within STEM spaces.
Programming Through an Equity Lens is a foundational learning experience focused on creating belonging-centered learning environments. Participants explore identity, belonging, bias, representation, and culturally responsive practices that influence how young people experience learning.
Through reflection, practical examples, and actionable strategies, participants strengthen their ability to create equitable and inclusive environments where all young people can contribute, belong, and thrive.
Professional Learning Badge Ecosystem
Each Techbridge Girls professional learning program includes a digital badge that participants earn upon completion, recognizing their learning and continued growth as STEM educators, mentors, and youth-serving professionals.
