Program Description

The AI Identity to Impact Learning Institute helps adults navigate artificial intelligence through a community-centered, equity-focused lens.

Through live learning, discussion, reflection, and practical application, participants build confidence engaging with AI while developing strategies to support young people as thoughtful, ethical, and empowered users of emerging technologies.

The AI Identity to Impact Learning Institute is offered as two interactive 90-minute sessions.

AI and You

AI and You builds a working understanding of AI, including:

AI’s impact on work, education, and everyday life
Opportunities and risks associated with AI
Popular AI tools and their use cases

AI and Youth

AI and Youth explores AI in youth education, including:

AI literacy, critical thinking, and responsible use
Identity, belonging, and representation in AI systems
Bias, ethics, and human-centered approaches to AI
Strategies for supporting Black, Latina, and Indigenous girls and gender-expansive youth in an AI-powered world
