As the STEM Curriculum Specialist, Tracy’s work focuses on developing curricula that provides access to BIPOC girls, providing them with the tools that will empower them to pursue careers in STEM. She also strives to provide professional development experiences to educators that will prepare them to facilitate authentic STEM learning experiences to students, while removing barriers BIPOC girls face in their daily lives.
Prior to Techbridge Girls, Tracy spent 15 years in education, working as an educator, instructional coach and district STEM Coordinator. In these roles she provided instruction to students, developed curriculum, designed and facilitated professional development for teachers and other stakeholders, all while keeping equity and social justice at the forefront of each experience.
