Miriam Kaboré is passionate about science, community outreach, and education. As the Program Manager for After School, she is committed to fostering an equitable learning environment for girls to explore STEM, build self-confidence, and explore multiple career paths.
Prior to Techbridge Girls, Miriam was a Secondary Education Science Volunteer with Peace Corps Cameroon, where she worked to improve education through student-centered practices, build STEM proficiency among her students, and engage the community in the educational system. Additionally, she worked to combat gender inequality within her school.
Miriam earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from James Madison University, where she researched the neurological mechanisms of the pain reflex. In her free time, she likes painting, reading a good book, and hiking with her dog, Blue.
