Jessica is an experienced nonprofit leader with a demonstrated history of program impact and organizational growth in the fields of youth development and out-of-school time. With a passion for youth-centered advocacy and public policy, she believes in the collective power of the nonprofit sector to make true and lasting social change. Before Techbridge Girls, Jessica Wetzel served youth and families at Girls Inc. of Carpinteria, working collaboratively with local and national leaders to implement outcome measurement and data tracking strategies and growing infrastructure to increase impact. During her decade of service at Girls Inc., Jessica spearheaded the development and launch of the local affiliate’s College-bound STEM program, early literacy programs, and girl-led advocacy work at the local, state, and national levels. She currently serves as Vice President of Programs and Quality for Techbridge Girls, leading a brilliant team toward bold goals that will ensure equitable access to high-quality STEM that sparks joy, belonging, and persistence. Jessica holds a BA in Liberal Studies/Elementary Education from California State University, Fullerton, and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from California State University, Northridge. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
