Ela Osborn is a resourceful, collaborative, and imaginative youth development worker who is passionate about breaking down barriers within the STEM field and beyond. In her current role as a volunteer coordinator with TBG, she brings her background in capacity building, youth development, and social and emotional learning.
Prior to Techbridge girls, Ela was a Youth Development Specialist for the Peace Corps in Morocco, where she broadened her understanding of capacity building and specifically gender and development programming. She took the inspiration and ambition of the women in her community with her, and hopes to be both a leader and learner in her role with TBG.She is determined in bringing about change for large numbers of girls through STEM empowerment programs that are accessible and equitable. Her future goals are working within a frame of inclusion, equity, anti-racism, and intersectionality as she pursues a Masters in Clinical Social Work at the University of Washington.
