DiemMi
DiemMi recently graduated from Oakland Technical High School. This fall, she'll be heading to college. She plans to major in Engineering. However, she is unclear of which Engineering career she wants, so she continues to explore her interest. When she was younger, DiemMi dreamed of becoming an artist but was discouraged by her father because he worried that she would not be able to support herself.
DiemMi investigated several careers, such as a dentistry and architecture, before she came to the decision that engineering was for her. DiemMi choose engineering because she was always really good with math and science and so she fell in love with engineering, which also came easily to her. DiemMi's sister inspired her to become an engineer, since she really enjoyed being in the Engineering Academy.
DiemMi loves to read manga. She loves to jog, go hiking, and hang out with her friends and family. DiemMi's family has always been supportive of her choices, with the exception of a possible career as an artist. DiemMi's parents, like all good parents, just desire their daughter's happiness. DiemMi's parents only worry about her health because she gets carried away sometimes by studying and forgetting to sleep. DiemMi dreams of traveling abroad, so she may explore and enjoy nature's beauty. Also, she dreams of flexible work hours, so her work does not become an obstacle in her personal life.
