Design Time!
This unit combines students' love of play and creativity with the engineering design process. To introduce the engineering design process and get creative juices flowing, girls build and design catapults, bags and a unique bubble wand and solution. Following a toy dissection activity, girls work together in teams to brainstorm toy ideas, sketch their idea, and prototype their toy. Girls also have a chance to name their toy and make a marketing plan.
