Design Time

This unit combines girls' love of play and creativity with the engineering design process. Girls start by customizing pencil bags and creating unique bubble wands and bubble solution. They work collaboratively to brainstorm and sketch toy ideas, build prototypes of their toys, and create marketing plans. Using job descriptions from Techbridge career cards and a scientific method of inquiry, girls start to develop real life skills and greater confidence in their science, engineering, and technology abilities.
