Would you like to gain girl-tested, hands-on curriculum and learn strategies for success?
We invite you to participate in Techbridge's Summer Training Institute in Oakland, CA from August 2-4, 2010! This 3-day workshop will give participants strategies and curriculum for inspiring girls in technology, science and engineering.
Topics will include:

Mission and underlying philosophy - why we do it, and how we accomplish our mission

The program model - what works well, what doesn't and lessons learned

Critical success factors for launching a successful program for girls

Recruitment and engagement - strategies for recruiting and retaining girls

Curriculum - training on our innovative curriculum designed for girls, including Green Design, Cars & Engines, Toy Design and Electronics & Circuitry

Working with role models and corporate partners - how to plan a successful and impactful visit

Action planning - participants will have a concrete action plan for implementation
A registration fee will cover the 3-day Training Institute; participants will also receive a CD-ROM and binder containing Techbridge's innovative curriculum. Due to the hands-on nature of the curriculum, we highly encourage two participants from the same organization attend the training together. The fee for one participant is $750; for two participants $1,000. Register early as spaces are limited!
