Programs

Techbridge offers programs for girls, and workshops, trainings and resources for role models, teachers and families.

Girls

Girls' after-school programs and summer programs are currently offered in Oakland, CA and surrounding communities.

Girl Scouts:

Through our partnership with Girl Scout councils, we offer programs-in-a-box and training for Girl Scout council staff and leaders.

Role Models:

Techbridge offers trainings and resources such as the role model resource guide and toolkit CD to support role models and partners in their outreach to K-12 students.

Teachers/Educators:

Techbridge offers training and resources so teachers can effectively engage students in science, technology, and engineering. Techbridge teachers meet quarterly to learn new skills, share ideas and lessons learned, network and plan curriculum.

Techbridge also offers its Summer Institute for educators interested in gaining hands-on curriculum training and strategies for engaging girls in science. Our curriculum is also available for educators to purchase.

Families:

Family events and resources help parents encourage and support girls in their interest in science, technology or engineering. In 2010, we produced a family science guide for the Bay Area.

Our newsletter help keep families informed on girls' activities in the programs.

Partners:

Techbridge offers trainings, curriculum, and consulting to organizations who are interested in partnering with us to help advance girls in science, technology and engineering.  Please contact us for more information.
